Both face painting and glitter tattoos are available for guests ages 3 and up. The key difference is placement: glitter tattoos go on the body only -- arm, wrist, or ankle for younger kids -- never near the eyes or mouth. A professional artist will always follow safe placement guidelines regardless of age.
For face painting, it's worth managing expectations with younger children. Some three year olds love sitting still for a butterfly. Others change their mind the moment they're in the chair. We recommend keeping designs quick and simple for the youngest guests, and a good artist will read the room and adapt accordingly.
For older teens and adults -- at festivals, gala events, or corporate nights in Vancouver or North Vancouver -- glitter bar (loose and chunky glitter applied to the face, hair, or collarbones) becomes an option.
