  • Face painting works well for most ages, we just ask that kids be at least 3 years old, and only if they're comfortable and willing. We won't paint a child who's distressed or unwilling, no matter their age. The most popular face painting ages are between 4-7 years.

  • We bring all our own paint, brushes, and supplies. Please provide a 6FT table and 2 chairs for your artist. At the time of booking you can request the artist brings their own table and chair for an additional fee.

  • Yes. MJC Artistry specializes in high-volume face painting for community festivals, school fun fairs, corporate family days, and public events throughout Metro Vancouver. Our setup is designed to handle large crowds while maintaining detailed, vibrant artwork.

  • For outdoor bookings, we ask that you have a covered, weather-protected backup space ready, rain, extreme heat, wind, or storms all count as unsafe outdoor conditions. Once your artist arrives on-site, the full booking rate applies regardless of weather, so having that backup space ready ahead of time keeps the party on track.

  • Indoors, we just need a minimum 6' x 6' area with good lighting. Outdoors, we need a shaded, covered 6' x 8' space on level ground, plus access to a restroom and somewhere to dispose of rinse water. If you don't have natural shade, we can bring a 10'x10' tent for an additional fee

  • We use professional cosmetic-grade, skin-safe face paints that are FDA-compliant and designed specifically for use on skin. Some of our favourite brands include GTX, Diamond FX and Fusion face paints. Strict hygiene protocols are followed at every event, including sanitized tools and clean water systems.
